Terms of Use

Using the app
EveryDay English is a learning app for personal use. Please use it kindly and lawfully. Do not copy, resell or take apart the app or its lessons.
Open lessons and Premium
The first city and some practice are open to everyone. Premium opens more cities, cards, stories, speaking role-plays and practice tests. Prices are shown before you choose a plan.
Early access
Online checkout is not open yet. Until it is, choosing a plan switches on full access on your device only, and no money is taken. Access given this way may change when real checkout opens.
Plans, trials and cancelling
When checkout opens, each plan will show its price and how long it lasts. Yearly starts with 7 days free; you can cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. Lifetime is one payment for as long as the app is offered. Refunds will follow the rules shown at checkout and the law where you live.
Learning results
We do our best to make the lessons clear and correct, but we cannot promise a score, a grade or a job. The speaking feedback is a simple guide, not a teacher's judgment.
Exam practice
The TOEFL and IELTS practice in this app is our own original material to help you get used to the style of the tasks. EveryDay English is not connected to, approved by or sponsored by ETS, the British Council, IDP or any exam owner. TOEFL and IELTS are trademarks of their owners.
Our content
The lessons, voices, drawings and design belong to us or are used with permission. Photos belong to their photographers and are shared under the licences listed in Profile, Photo credits.
Changes to the app
We may improve, change or remove features. If we make an important change to these terms, we will show the new date at the top.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, such as lost progress when browser data is cleared.
